Balancing Open-Source and Product Advocacy

13 May 2025

1:00pm CT

Devtool companies often walk a fine line between supporting open-source communities and advocating for their commercial products. This intersection presents unique challenges and opportunities for DevRel teams working to build authentic relationships with technical audiences.

In this webinar, Dewan Ishtiaque Ahmed (Principal Developer Advocate at Harness) and Matt McClintock (Head of Content at Revelo) will explore effective strategies for maintaining credibility while serving both open-source and commercial interests. They'll share practical insights on creating value-driven content, building genuine community engagement, and measuring impact across these sometimes competing domains.

Join us to learn how leading organizations successfully navigate this balance, avoid common pitfalls, and create DevRel programs that resonate with developers while driving business goals.

How DevRel, Marketing, and Sales Can (and should) Work Together

27 May 2025

1:00pm CT

The relationship between Developer Relations, Marketing, and Sales teams can determine the success of your developer-focused strategy. Yet many DevRel programs have been built explicitly in opposition to these traditional functions, creating an inefficient distance between teams. This separation has often led to reinvented wheels, missed opportunities, and challenges in demonstrating value.

In this webinar, Kurtis Kemple (Sr. Director of DevRel at Slack) and Dave Neary (Director of Developer Relations at Ampere Computing) will explore the costs of this oppositional mindset and chart a path toward more effective cross-functional collaboration.

Join us to discover practical frameworks for building strategic partnerships that amplify impact across your organization.

How quickly can we get started?
Typically, onboarding takes 6-9 weeks between when we sign a statement of work and when your first article is completed. After that, new content will be delivered every week based on your plan. You can see our whole process on our blog.
What if we want more content?
Not a problem. Our standard packages are just a starting point, but we have clients doing anywhere from 12-48 blog posts every quarter.
What if we just want to try Draft.dev out?
We don't offer trials, but we have an extensive catalog of samples we can share. A few are available here, but we can share many more upon request.
What if we don't like an article you send us?
We stand by our satisfaction guarantee. If you're ever unsatisfied, we'll work with you to make it right. If we cannot fix the content within two rounds of revisions, we'll offer a complete rewrite or refund for the piece.
How do payments work?
You can opt to either pay a single invoice at the start of each quarter or create a monthly payment plan. Other payment options are available for an additional fee.
Do you accept bulk orders?
We do. The price per article depends on the volume and delivery speed required. Book a call with us to discuss your content needs.
